No. You only pay once the detail is finished and you've had a chance to walk around the car in good light. There's no deposit to book, either — that applies to every package, including paint correction and ceramic coating.
Nothing. The van carries its own water, filtered down to 0 PPM through a four-stage RO/DI system, plus its own power and steam equipment, so we can set up in a driveway, apartment lot, or office parking spot without borrowing a hose or an outlet.
No — Texas Auto Club is fully mobile. We come to you anywhere in the Austin service area below. There's no storefront to drive to.
A Maintenance Detail runs about an hour. A Full Detail or Luxury Detail usually takes two to three hours. Paint correction and ceramic coating take longer, often three-plus hours depending on the package and the condition of the paint — we'll give you a time estimate when you book.
Austin tap water carries roughly 250 PPM of dissolved minerals, which is what leaves spotting after a regular wash or rain. We rinse with lab-grade RO/DI water filtered to 0 PPM, so there's nothing left in the water to dry into a spot.
Maintenance Detail is the quick refresh — exterior wash plus an interior wipe-down and vacuum — for a car that's already in decent shape. Full Detail is the deeper service: a steam-cleaned interior, leather conditioning, glass and door jambs, and a paint sealant. If it's been a few months since your last detail, start with Full Detail.
