Bunker Ranch broke ground in 2017 on a 213-acre tract off West Highway 290, developed by Bunker Ranch LLC and built by San Antonio-based Monticello Homes. Lots run large — 0.75 to 2 acres — heavily wooded, with mature trees deliberately preserved during development, and the neighborhood's namesake is an original historic bunker still standing on the property, a genuinely unique landmark among Dripping Springs's newer communities.
Being one of the newest communities on our Dripping Springs route, expect periods of active construction dust depending on which phase is currently building, alongside the typical tree debris that comes with heavily wooded, preserved-tree lots.
