Cherry Creek sits between Brodie Lane and Manchaca Road, from Stassney Lane to Slaughter Lane — one of the largest and earliest master-planned communities in Southwest Austin, developed from 1965 through the early 2000s. Most of the neighborhood has no mandatory HOA (the exception being Sections 14, 16, and 17 on West Gate Boulevard, under the Tanglewood Oaks HOA), and the housing stock mixes single-family homes, duplexes, and remodeled properties around Silk Oak Park.
Being Oak Hill's oldest master-planned community, mature oaks and decades-old pavement mean more sap, pollen, and general wear to plan around than a newer subdivision, and the no-mandatory-HOA setup means more variation in home upkeep street to street. We check every car's actual condition rather than assume uniformity across such an old, varied neighborhood.
