Brushy Creek itself winds alongside the neighborhood, and Brushy Creek Lake State Park sits directly across the street — a 60-acre lake with a fishing dock and splash pad that draws a steady stream of visitors driving through on weekends.
That park traffic, combined with the creek running through the area, means more mud, grass, and waterborne debris tracked onto driveways here than in a neighborhood further from natural water features — especially after rain, when the creek rises and the park gets muddy fast.
