Cimarron Park went in during the early 1980s off FM 1626, a mix of single-family homes, duplexes, and townhomes on heavily wooded half-acre lots with mature pecan trees, ranch-style architecture, decks, and fireplaces. It's genuinely one of Buda's older neighborhoods, and the HOA keeps a real community calendar going — an annual garage sale, a spring carnival, and a holiday lighting contest — more of a tight-knit social scene than you'd find in a newer subdivision.
