Cottonwood Creek is a large Lennar-built community off CR 132 south of Highway 79, on track for about 979 homesites at full build-out with over 665 residents already living there. Two earlier phases covering 546 homesites are completely sold out, and the community is now in Phase 7, its final phase, mixing 50-foot and 70-foot lots with some larger three-car-garage homes. Amenities include pools, playgrounds, basketball and pickleball courts, hike-and-bike trails, and picnic areas, plus 20 acres Lennar deeded to the city as open space.
Being in its final construction phase means active earthwork and construction traffic are still part of daily life here, more than in the fully sold-out earlier phases — we budget extra pre-wash time for Cottonwood Creek bookings for exactly that reason, especially for homes closest to Phase 7's active grading.
