Las Lomas is a small estate community of about 65 homes, between Bee Cave Road and Lake Austin roughly a mile west of MoPac, accessed from Las Lomas Drive. Homes run 3,500 to 10,000 square feet on 1-to-2.5-acre lots, mostly built in the 1990s and early 2000s, many fully updated, several with notable views. The Las Lomas Residential Owners Association runs around $550 a year, and the neighborhood is zoned to Eanes ISD — Eanes Elementary, Hill Country Middle, Westlake High.
With lots running up to 2.5 acres, Las Lomas has some of the longest driveways and most total exterior surface per home on our West Lake Hills route, and the Lake Austin proximity for several properties brings the familiar mineral-spot buildup.
