Sawyer Ranch is a 280-acre custom-home community of roughly 175 homes just west of Belterra, with lots running 1 to 4.5 acres and homes built mostly in the 2000s by Drees Homes, Highland Homes, and other custom builders. Streets include Sawyer Ranch Road, Tom Sawyer Road, Old Mill Road, and Pollys Point, with an amenity center on Tom Sawyer Road (pool, covered patio with an outdoor fireplace and BBQ area, kids' play area) open 6am to 10pm, and native Hill Country landscaping deliberately preserved during development.
Large acreage lots with preserved native landscaping mean more tree debris, pollen, and dust from longer driveways than a typical production subdivision — closer to what we see at Bunker Ranch or Deer Creek than at a newer, flatter community. We budget accordingly for every Sawyer Ranch booking rather than treating it like a standard suburban driveway.
